New user email confirmation

I couldnt find any setting to force user to confirm email on my local copy (docker). Appreciate your advice.

No setting required. The system requires email verification to activate the account by default.

If GitLab account is already connected to a verified email address, You can turn on "The OAuth2 site has verified the email" switch in "Check Email Verified" field.

Thank you, I have solved it. It requires setting the email to public in GitLab for OpenID to include email information.

Currently, you can turn on "login required" in Admin->Settings->Login. However, it seems that there is a lack of verification for user activation status. We will fix this in the next version.
